Wanna know the latest on Iretons's Petition? The software supporting the petition on change.org is VERY primitive and easy to exploit to see the internal workings. Just before the server crashed at 5:30 tonight Jim himself had signed at least 17 times using various names, three different people signed Joe Albero's name and it appears likely that there are approximately 120 to 140 legitimate names. All the rest are fakes or repeat signers.
Such petitions should have to be verified like the State does with referendum initiatives.

BUT!!! The petition doesn't mean squat. Just a feeble attempt from a feeble minded man child to intimidate and pick a fight with the three council members that got him elected. This guy is trouble and needs to be ran out of office asap.
While one can never be certain, it is unlikely that Adolf Hitler, John F. Kennedy, Howdy Doody, Batman or Mother Theresa actually signed the petition. There were almost 200 of those alone.

Jim likes a snot stick.
Jim Ireton has lost ALL credibility with the voting public. I hope he stays in the mayoral race just so we can show him just how much people can't stand him any more. Filling in names Jim, really. Your gonna lose the mayoral race and any dream of working in politics down the road. Jim Ireton, you are a cheater and I would never want my child in your classroom.
ReplyDeleteIreton doesn't realize how many people come to this site. Every person I know comes here and enjoys what Joe puts out there. If Ireton is capable of doing this it makes me wonder what he's doing when he's in the mayors office. For example. The other day you put up your version of what you'd do downtown. There were 200 comments on that article and everyone was more supportive towards Joe's idea. The mayor wants us to believe he has more support and that isn't true. Once we learned what could be done everyone I know loved Joe's idea. The local media seems to be controlling everything that happens around here by reporting one side. They need to interview Joe but I doubt that will happen. Long live Salisbury News.
