Brinton Wellington Cox, 30yoa of Eden, MD was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Burglary, 1st & 2nd degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, False Imprisonment, & MDOP < $500.
On June 9, 2012 at approximately 12:48am, officers responded to 311 Naylor Mill Rd for a complaint of a female screaming for help.
On arrival, officers met with two witnesses who observed Cox push the victim into her apartment. Several minutes later the witnesses heard yelling and screaming coming from the victim’s apartment. Witnesses said that while they waited for the police to arrive, they watched Cox swing at and strike the victim.
Officers made entry into the apartment and found Cox standing over the victim. Officers found the victim had numerous injuries to her face and head. It was learned from the victim that Cox
had struck and kicked her several times in the head area as well as struck the victim with a glass wall clock.
Cox was released to the custody of central booking. Linda Sue Roberts, 55yoa of Salisbury, MD was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Disturbance of the Peace, Fail
to Obey a Lawful Order, and Resist Arrest.
On June 9, 2012 at approximately 7:45pm, an officer responded to the Royal Farms Store located at 101 N Salisbury Blvd for an unknown problem. On the arrival of the officer, he met with complainants who advised that Roberts was yelling, screaming, and cursing at them. In addition, Roberts had also threatened one of the complainants. Roberts had left the property, but returned and continued to yell and curse. She was asked by the officer to quiet down which she did very briefly. Roberts again became very disorderly and was placed under arrest. As the
officer was attempting to handcuff Roberts, she pulled away and would not allow the officer to secure her wrist. Roberts was eventually subdued.
Roberts was released to the custody of central booking.
Vickie Ramsingh, 28yo of Salisbury, MD was arrested and charged with 2nd degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and False Imprisonment.
On June 10, 2012 at approximately 5:44am, officers responded to the 200 block of Broad St for a reported assault. On arrival officers met with the victim who advised that she had gotten into
a verbal argument with her boyfriend, Ramsingh. The argument turned physical and Ramsingh began to push the victim around the apartment. Ramsingh then locked the victim and himself in
the bedroom where he pushed the victim onto the bed and began to choke the victim. The victim was able to get Ramsingh off of her but Ramsingh continued to hit and push the victim. The
victim was able to get away from Ramsingh and call the police.
Ramsingh fled from the scene prior to officers’ arrival but was located in the Railroad Ave area.
Ramsingh was released to the custody of central booking.
