There has been another violent incident against a speed camera van in the D.C. area.
An Ellicott City man was arrested on Tuesday for repeatedly driving past
a speed camera van and firing glass marbles with a sling shot.
Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the speed camera van operator, who is a civilian
employee of the police department, was clocking driver speed near an elementary
school on Tridelphia Road in Howard County. He heard something hit the side of the van and saw a gray minivan passing.
