Health Care Is Getting So Expensive, Young Adults Would Rather Just Skip It

Who needs silly things like prescriptions and MRIs when health care costs so much? Not the millions of young adults who are skipping necessary care and treatment because of the rising cost of getting medical attention, says a new report.

  1. Not to mention it costs $100 to walk into a doctor's office to get the order for the prescription or MRI.

    Single payer is looking more and more like a viable answer to an out of control health care system.

  6. Young adults just figure if they get really sick they will declare bankruptcy on the bills or someone will hold a fundraiser.

  7. Especially frustrating if you work for PRMC. Although thankful to have insurance, you would think they would offer top ~ notch health benefits, but they don't.

  8. The have also skipped practical concerns like safe sex. Besides the deadly one there are resistant strains of sexually transmitted disease that the young seem to be spreading unconcerned for their own well being or that of their partners .

  9. I get really tired of those who have insurance complaining about what they have.
    You could be like us and have NO health insurance and not be able to afford it either!
    Just for me is almost 1,000 a month! My husband has a pre-existing condition and they don't even want to know he exists!
    Obamacare is not the answer but there has to be an answer somewhere!
