But is a nice lady wearing a scarf or head band really dangerous?
The credit union seems to thinks so.
Four women on Friday were refused service at the Silver Hill branch of the credit union in District Heights because they were wearing scarves, a head band and even a hair net.
"They denied me entrance to the bank as soon as I got to the door," says Kim Anderson, a Credit Union customer who was refused service.

ReplyDeletethis sounds like a set up for a law suit. get some white guys with something on there head in there so the taxpayers don't have to pay out big
ReplyDeleteNo setup here; I worked at this organization for years and I can tell you they simply make bad decisions and have little compliance control or staff who know what they are doing. Yes, security is good but stopping people due to hairnets and wigs opens you up to lawsuits, removing sunglasses and hats is ok, but hairnets and wigs as a policy must be challenged. This credit union seems to not invest in the right technology to prevent fraud and are using an unreliable method to stop it with this policy. Spend some money senior management on technology. CEO should be terminated.
