Father Allegedly Kills Man Who Molested His Daughter, Texas Cops Say

Sheriff's deputies in Texas won't file charges against a father who they say beat an acquaintance to death after allegedly catching him sexually abusing the man's 4-year-old daughter.

During a social gathering on Saturday, the girl went inside the family's home in Shiner while other members of the family were tending to horses outside, CNN reported.

The father caught a 47-year-old man -- with whom he was casually acquainted -- attempting to molest his daughter, Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon told the Victoria Advocate. The father then allegedly punched the man in the head until he died, Harmon reported.

  2. This guy saved the taxpayers of Texas A LOT of money.
He saved the police and government agencies the time and trouble it would take to run the perp through the justice system.
Most importantly, no child will ever be victimized by the pervert again.

  3. what a good father. i hope the grand jury will not bring charges against him. i'm hopeful that he will seek therapy to help him deal with the sexual abuse of his daughter and the repercussions of taking a mans life - i can't imagine that will be easy to live with for the rest of his life.

  5. Sorry folks,
The law will bring charges, in their eyes it is wrong for him to assult no matter what the crime. How do I know? Been through a situation where a male sexually assalted my child. I was told no matter how angry I was and no matter the outcome of the trail(he was no found guilty) I cannot take the law into my own hands. They warned me because they knew how angry beyond words I was and I wanted justice. You have to prove beyound a resonable doubt which is hard to do when there are no witness and it is a young child.Prosacuters are only interested in defending the liar and winning wven if they are guilty. Not all evisence can be entered in court. This guy had molested other kids and that could information could not be presented.

  6. If enough of us start killing these bastards right at the scene the authorities will get the message, if they don't like it then they also can get ready for a dirt nap

  7. Texas is not a liberal state as Maryland is and most of the laws there tend to favor the victim, not the criminal!

  12. If he caught him in the act, I don't care what state it happened in, he did the right thing.

Who among us would not have done the same thing?

Taking a life is serious business but from what I have read about this case, I believe he was justified.

One thing is for certain, he will never molest another child.

  14. Thank you, Texas! In my case, Maryland allowed the perp a year to file charges on me for asault in a similar situation. Had I killed him, I probably would be jailed or on death row now. I gotta go to Texas or some other state with the same laws.

  16. I agree with June 12, 2012 3:50 PM. They will find some reason to put him in Jail.

The Obama administration found an excuse to put Zimmerman's wife in jail. You idiots keep voting for Democrats and you will be in concentration camps before you know it.

  20. hopefully whenever a case like this goes to grand jury in maryland their will be enough senseable people to say the father did right! Or even one on a jury if it were to go to trial! I know I would!
