Court Of Appeals Allows DREAM Act Vote

Less than 24 hours after hearing arguments, the Maryland Court of Appeals has ruled a referendum vote on Maryland's DREAM Act can move forward in November.

A one page ruling was issued this morning from Maryland's highest court affirming an Anne Arundel County Circuit Court decision allowing the vote. 

The DREAM Act, which was passed last year by the Maryland legislature, requires that community colleges offer their lowest tuition rate to undocumented immigrants, if they can prove residency in the county where the college is located.
