WASHINGTON - A local boy has become the world champion in competitive cup stacking.
William Polly, 11, of Arlington, Va. earned the distinction at the 2012
World Sport Stacking Championships held in April in Butzbach, Germany,
near Frankfurt. Polly was defending the title after winning it in
Garland, Texas last year. He had previously become the national champion
in Colorado Springs, Colo.
It's the first time the competition has been held outside of the U.S.
