WARRENTON, Va. - The investigation into Monday's deadly mid-air
collision is being taken over by Canadian officials because the planes
involved were owned by federal aviation and transportation officials.
The small plane collision Sunday killed two people and injured a third in Fauquier County.
The National Transportation Safety Board said Tuesday one of its
employees owned the six-seat Beechcraft BE-25 involved in the crash. The
medical examiner's office has yet to identify the two victims.
