John McCain to Obama: 'Heroes don't brag'

Republican Senator and decorated prisoner of war John McCain criticized President Obama Tuesday night, saying he has shown a lack of leadership in his handling on key terror issues - specifically the killing of Osama bin Laden.

“I hope this isn't viewed in the wrong way but heroes don't brag,” McCain told ABC7’s Jay Korff. “Heroes don't brag."

Obama has been accused by some for using the death of bin Laden for political gain. In one instance, Obama’s campaign released an ad questioning whether Mitt Romney would have killed bin Laden.

  1. Wake up people! Obama is Muslim and the Muslims are taking us over from the inside out. Gas stations, mini-marts and now HealthMart Pharmacies.

  2. This is laughable. The same folks who claimed Obama would usher in terror strikes with weak policies are now seething mad that under his admin. we're taking out terror targets left and right and thwarting multiple plots. Shut up already.

  3. 625-While Egypt is now being run by radical muslims, Libya is a warzone(where if you stop at a checkpoint, you're probably going to get beaten, robbed, or killed by one of the dozens of militias). Where the Syrian people are being murdered by the thousands, but not to worry, Obama has stopped attempting to kiss Assads' @ss. Where we watched him do nothing to help the people of Iran when the Green revolution had a chance to overcome, instead choosing to "negotiate" with the same gov't that supplies IED's and arms to those that fight us.

Yep, hell of a President. Real bang up job. That's what happens when you hire a Sec. of State who has as little experience as you!

  5. 941, I'm sorry if you were the one who really thought Obama was the messiah, able to wave his wand and turn a dictator ran Egypt and Libya into prosperous democracies over night. Seems to me the upheaval we have seen is the same transition you clowns were cheering for when Bush first uttered "arab spring". Oh wait, that was just another half-baked idea that you guys didn't think through. No wonder you are surprised at the current state of events. And something tells me we would have alot more leverage to deal with both syria and iran if our military hadn't been stretched thin chasing through the desert.

  6. 1207-That "dictator" in Egypt was a valuable ally in the region for over 20 years that helped the peace process in the middle east. Now, thanks to Obama, that country is run by radical muslims. Libya, well if it wasn't for the oil it'd be like Syria.

Don't lump me in with those that like Bush. Libtard, you know there are plenty of folk who think both Bush/Obama are ninnies? I'm one of those. Both are failures, plain and simple. But going as far to blame Bush for the war, well just look at the voting records in Congress. Willing to bet the vast majority of those spineless dems voted for it as well lol. It's the repubs fault whether or not they are running things, right? Good excuse for a failure of leadership from 1600 Penn ave.
