Mrs. Lappe was a real jewel. All three of my children took lessons from her and her biennial dance shows were professionally done and well worth attending. She was a former Rockette and even later in life she still had all the moves.
ReplyDeleteA grand lady and long time friend...RIP.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Lappe was the kindest woman I've ever met. She taught me many things but the one thing she taught me that always makes me smile is "your other left". Whenever I hear those words I think of her.
ReplyDeleteMr. & Mrs. Lappe, thank you for caring about all of us. You will always be missed.
Mrs. Lappe was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to many youn dancers. She was always kind and encouraging and really know how to put on a dance show that students and that parents always looked forward to. RIP, Mrs. Lappe and God Bless the Lappe family in this time of great loss.
ReplyDelete"Your other left!" LOL! I had completely forgotten that; thanks for the memory. Mrs. Lappe was quite the lady but she certainly was not a stick-in-the-mud.
ReplyDeleteAwww, she was a real nice lady.
ReplyDeleteI can say I had a chance to dance with a ROCKETTE!!! Awesome woman that made everyone boys and girls want to dance!!!
