I believe I read of this case in Good Housekeeping. Was he six years old, left for school, never made it to school, and no one realized he was missing/abducted until he did not return home from school. This was the first case of an abducted child I was ever aware of. This story has left a very definite impact on me. I have had children and grandchildren fingerprinted as soon as possible.
Fingerprints wouldn't have mattered here. Etan was never found. Etan is thought to be the first child ever posted on a milk carton. 33 years is a long time for a parent to wait for answers. God bless them in this time as they rehash a 33 year old wound.
