  2. lol, hey doofus. Thanks for highlighting the entire point! Shawn Tyson was tried and convicted for murder. Justice served. Zimmerman was taken at his word and let go without even a court hearing or full investigation while his victim lay dead.

  3. This has really hurt the black community.Time will tell just how much damage has been done & how long it will take for them to recover,if ever.

  4. After so many years of reverse racism or blacks against whites , we are very tired of all the crap.
I've said it before , I pray all the time for a revolution. I wish that it will happen soon.
I will no longer turn the other cheek , or look the other way , or pretend it didn't happen.
    The rivers will turn red.

  5. As a human being, I will stand my ground with or without a law. I'd rather be judged by a group 12 than to be carried by a group of 6.

  6. In 1968, blacks staged racial riots in several major cities. The only thing they accomplished was to burn down their own homes and neighborhood businesses that provided them services. They lost more than they gained so I don't expect any uprising now to turn out any better.

A special prosecutor has been assigned to this case to determine what, if any, charges are warranted. Until that happens, whining race industry personalities or altering evidence and publishing it as NBC did benefits nobody.

There was NO EVIDENCE Z did anything illegal. I know it's hard for people such as yourself to accept, but you just can't make 'stuff' up just because you want to.

People really need to stop mouthing off about such things they know NOTHING OF.

Al Sharpton and the rest of his monkey group is enough for any country. They don't need any help from the peanut gallery.

Keep pushing and threatening stuff you can't back up. You and your ilk will be totally surprised at the outcome.

Hard heads have to learn the hard way.

  9. Hey 4:41 PM... In case you don't realize it, you are PROFILING the contributors here. Are they assumed to have some special characteristic if they are from the Eastern Shore? I guess wearing a hoodie implies some characteristic too?

  10. You know your from the Eastern Shore when you think these comments are extreme. How naive!

You should read some of the inner city blogs and the white hate and conspiracy filth that's written there.
Start with the TEN POINTS page on the black panthers website.
    Wake up!

Well gee willikers SIR, that statement was so informative, precise and brilliant.

Which part of the eastern shore are you from, SIR?

It's comments such as those that make me keep coming back. It is such a JOY to read such well constructed and meaningful gems of wisdom.

You must be one of the rare people in the higher echelon of intelligence.

Truly you must contribute more and more often. We sorely need such inspiration and insight.

Thank you so much for taking the time to enlighten us. We are better people for it.

  12. 4:09, "now you funny too".

Only in the crazed post-Obama world of right wing loons does

    #1 dead body
    #2 confirmed weapon
#3 pursuit/escalation of the situation by the perp.

= "no evidence". I'm not saying the guy is guilty. Most logical people would agree that you do more than just say "ok, you can go home". DOn't believe me? Well looks like the original homicide detective DID recommend further prosecution.

  13. 3:24 "As a human being, I will stand my ground"

Sounds like Trayvon was doing the same after being followed by a stranger and chased down.

  14. It doesn't matter if he was 'chased down'. The SYG law still applies.

I sent in proof of that but, again, Joe doesn't always post what is sent in.

  15. 9:24 you may be able to make that argument, even a strong argument. But the point is that despite the homicide detective's recommendations, they didn't even seek to prosecute zimmerman, even though the boy lay dead and there was a good chance that a crime was committed. The entire issue isn't that "zimmerman is guilty", it's that they didn't even try to find out if he was guilty. Essentially "the kid came at me so I shot him" was all it took to get him off. Thats like Kobe Bryant saying, "well she wanted it from the start" in his defense against his past rape case.

  16. Hey 5:01, its the same excuse cops use and get away with every day. Justifiable homicide.
I felt threatened. I perceived my life was in danger. He moved in a threatening manner.
So I shot him in the back.
Good for the goose is good for the gander, never mind its wrong.

It seems like you are assuming the police did not do any investigative work. It's my understanding they did.

They observed the crime scene. Z's clothes and him bleeding from nose and head.

They interviewed witnesses. They took Z to the police station, in handcuffs, and interviewed him.

They took all of this to the states atty who decided there was not enough evidence for a charge, of any kind.

That's what the law said. What everyone is debating now is what the people say.

They don't believe the police, therefore they don't believe the evidence.

They think it is a massive cover up. They think Martin should not have been shot because he was unarmed, no matter that he was attacking Z.

Police kill dogs and people everyday who they perceive as a threat, and it's justified.

Why should this be any different?
