ReplyDeleteIf this man printed this sign, it's clear that he is an educated person and probably held a good job at one time. I am also wondering where his dog is. I hope that they are both safe and that both of them will soon have a home and that he will have a job. Our current Mayor turns a blind eye to the homeless situation and needs to address it. I agree that some are the way they are because it is their choice but not all.
ReplyDeleteThis man is NOT NOT NOT homeless. Do not give him anything. He should be ashamed. He lives in an apartment and gets govt checks. He is scamming. Watch him smoke one cigarette after the other and take note of his clothes. He makes me sick. I have all the empathy in the world for those truly in need but this man is digusting!

ReplyDeleteIreton has told the police to move the "pan handlers along" and gave order for them to take any signs that are being used. We all need help is one way or another or at sometime so whatever you feel is best should be done unless it degrades or puts someone down. Noone knows who eats what if anything any night, a great hug to all who have shared leftovers with co workers who may be hungry

That's where you and others make your mistakes. Looks can be deceiving. You might look intelligent but in reality maybe not. Just like him or anyone else that looks like they are able to work.
And yes, I enjoy my government unemployment check very much thank you. It has allowed me to take several cruises, enhance my stock portfolio and buy several new houses.
We have to tolerate people like you, so why can't you tolerate others?
This man recieves a monthly pension check and social security. He lives in an apartment on Alabama ave. The sleeping bag and cart are just props to apprear "homeless" to get "donations". BTW someone also takes his dog to the vet once a year for its yearly check-up. And you better believe he ain't the one paying!
