Bill was the very first Blogger on the Shore with one of the most creative Blogs ever seen called, "Duvafiles".
Bill was a very creative local attorney respected in his profession and is survived by his Wife Sylvia, son Richard Duvall and another son in Hawaii.
Many feel we are losing all of the fine people who defined Wicomico County. Rest In Peace Bill Duvall. You have been missed yet will be remembered in the Blogosphere.
Bill truly enjoyed challenging the local Main Stream Media helping to define Blogs today.
New Posts to fall below.
Thanks for your tribute for this special person. He will be missed.
ReplyDeleteWillie G was a "one of" in every way.
ReplyDeleteWe should remember him most for harassing, exposing and unseating the former liberal elite in Wicomico County -- Henry "Godfather" Parker, Vic ("the slick") Laws, "Prince Phillip" Tilghman, "General" Tony Sarbanes.
What is unfortunate: Bill's health failed before he could cause the downfall of Rick Pollitt, but that is more the fault of the local Republican party.
He was also responsible, along with this blog, for the downfall of Barrie Tilghman and the "Dream Team" of "Mikey" Dunn and "Bubba" Comegys.
RIP, Bill
Duvall was a very unique and interesting person. He was the same every time you met him. A true man to his word and an outstanding attorney. Downtown will miss him.
ReplyDelete8:32 We can't forget Rasputin. Can anyone post who he compared to Rasputin? Bill was truly one of a kind and will be terribly miss. RIP Bill!
ReplyDeleteJoe:
ReplyDeleteBill cut Ricky Pollitt too much slack because of Bill's realings with Judge Pollitt, who was a fine person.
"Little" Ricky is ridiculous.
Wicomico will miss him. He has made a huge difference.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget the time that Bill entertained (including Jack & Coke) the FBI agents that Barrie sicced on him when he exposed her on the "Duvafiles."
ReplyDeleteLOL I remember the story of the FBI's visit. Gotta love Bill. He was unique in every way. RIP Bill
ReplyDelete8:41 Creamer!!! Then there was the House of Lords.
ReplyDeleteBesides all of Bill's political influence he needs to be recognized as the brilliant attorney that he was. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteSomebody needs to step to the plate now to help us rid of trash like Rick Pollitt
ReplyDeleteRIP Bill. You won't be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteGosh, the terms he coined, like "House of Lords," LOL! And some nice ones, like "Lady Campbell."
ReplyDeleteHe stuck up for "the Maulers."
I only wish he had left his blog up for historical purposes.
RIP, Mr. D. Some of us knew you long before, some of us got to know you through Duvafiles. Either way, you told it like it was!
He was a great inspiration, and has left an indelible mark on us all.
