Only some 12 hours after WND reported on a letter from the Rutherford Institute alerting Richmond, Va., authorities to the dangers of a midnight police “wakeup call” program, city officials have announced it is being discontinued.
WND learned in an email from the city early today that the program that was launched earlier this month is scheduled to be terminated May 1.
The institute, which had sent a letter to the city regarding Fourth Amendment rights and several safety concerns, were pleased when the city’s announcement came today.
