WBOC Going All Basketball?

Joe,

What do think about non stop basketball on WBOC? I wish there was a tv station that all sports could be broadcast on so I could get it disconnected. I am sure some folks love sports but to change all programming to force feed basket ball is a bit much. Do you agree????

  1. I hate it. Didn't get to view The Young and The Ruthless and The Bold and The Brazy, my favorite soaps opera. There ain't that much basketball to watch in the world. Especially college basketball. It's call censorship.

  2. I'd start with the remote control. Change the channel.

Also, there is something called a power switch. It's on all TV sets.

OR, simply unplug the darned thing.

Lots of possibilities. No one is holding a gun to your head to watch something you don't want to see.

  3. I agree totally! If you want to watch non-stop sports.. watch ESPN ... believe it or not, we are all not sport fanatics!

  4. It is just for a short period of time during the NCAA tournaments. I am not sure it is much harm. Once you are past the 1st and 2nd rounds you are down to 16 teams, and the coverage will be limited to just four hours +-...

  5. they need to do something! other than half a weather forecast every 6 minutes! wboc straight up sucks!right along with ALL their muppets! lol..everybody there is their cheif meteorologist!

  6. there are other channels that carry weather. can't figure out why you people complain so much - maybe because your remote is broke or you haven't learned to use it yet. Don't like BOC than turn it off.

  8. It's not WBOC it's CBS. Young and Restless isn't on ANY CBS station during March madness. What a bunch of whiny cry babies!!!

  9. I'd rather watch grass grow than watch basketball - what a waste of time and money.

  10. The number of people watching basketball > the number of people whining about being force-fed basketball (which you are not).

  11. Wouldn't make any difference, WBOC is sufficiently offensive I wouldn't notice - that's one station that never crosses my screen.

  12. WBOC is part of the CBS network. They really don't have a choice in network programming.

  13. Wboc blows. They get new anchors every two months and get rid of the good ones like myself.

  15. For those basketball haters... to bad. This has been a great tournament so far! Lots of upsets including two #2 teams down in first round. And almost all games covered on CBS, TBS, TRU-TV, and TNT! Sorry you missed your soaps, and prime time shows, but prime time is repeats anyway.
    March Madness Rules!!

  16. Basketball is much better than the crap that is usually on. At least college hoops makes sense and is real.Better to watch the tournament than watching 5 women sitting at a table all talking at the same time about nothing.
