  4. absolutely ! Look at all the tests I have to pass to stay in business so the government can have the money to furnish the benefits.

  5. It's OK by me as long as congress has to take the test themselves! What's good for the goose....

  12. So then should anyone who recieves any money for the state have to pass test? i.e., elected officials, cops, firefighters, military, teachers, medicare and medicaid recipients etc....

  13. 12:46 absolutely they should have to pass drug tests too. What is wrong with this society today - no matter where you work or what kind of benefits you are applying for, you should have to do the initial drug test to even get hired or receive benefits, then random drug testing - and especially in those professions you have listed.

  15. I get routine drug test at my current place of employment. Why not for those who pick up an assistance check from the government. Absolutely. There are too many unemployed people who receive checks just to get high on drugs.

  16. What are going to do when they don't get any assistance? Have that planned out? If they don't get assistance they will be coming to look for you, take what you have and possibly harm you or a family member.

It's a preppers world and before you pass it you better ,lock, load and be ready!

If they are hooked on drugs they will try anything to get their money, if it means killing their own mother! It wouldn't be the first time.

  17. How about those people who get food cards and free health care? I know some who could not pass a 4th grade math test let alone a drug test and get a card to buy food and free health and dental! Something is not right and they go on cruises!

  18. Absolutely NOT. Unemployment is insurance. Insurance premiums have been paid into the fund. No matter who the broker is, it's a product that has been bought and paid for and being laid off through no fault of your own qualifies one for the benefit.

HOWEVER, it is true that if one has been fired he may be refused benefits, so in that line of thinking if a person was fired for doing drugs or drinking at work, they should be denied benefits. That is up to the employer to prove whether by a test, witnesses, or the employees refusal to take a test.

Public assistance is another animal entirely; those folks need the piss test, I agree.

  24. They cannot get a job if they cannot pass a drug test. So why would we keep paying them while they make themseves unemployable?

  25. hey 2:26
I think you think too much, if you want to do drugs(which are illegal) do it in mexico.
You don't impress me or anyone else who saw your comment.

  26. No one should have to take a drug test without a justifiable reason. Running for office and/or applying for unemployment or other assistance and/or appyling for a job (with exceptions) are not good reasons.

People just love to give up their rights and their privacy, especially when there's a big carrot like a job at the end of the stick. What we're doing is proving our innocence without due process because the assumption is one is a drug user until one can prove otherwise.

Somebody's making big $$$ selling drug test kits. Follow the money and ask for your Fourth Amendment rights back.
