A viewer of Salisbury News became outraged when he watched two local cab drivers racing down the Bypass. By the time he was able to catch up to them as they were exiting they were doing well over 70 but claims they had allegedly been doing around 90 mph. Remember Folks, it takes time to video something like this so even though the speedometer only shows 70+ mph, they were slowing down for the off ramp.
so not only is the driver speeding, hes trying to film a video. thats much worse than some cab driver diong 70+ mph.
ReplyDeleteI dont want to hear it, because the "outraged driver" was going just as fast.
ReplyDeleteI find what she/he was doing to be more dangerous than the cabs.
ReplyDeletelmao! that's nothing I routinely see the msp doing such shanighens!
ReplyDeleteat least those taxi drivers didn't turn right around and ticket the guy who was following them!
B.F.D...no traffic around except the videographer clogging the fast lane...shoot some video of them doing over 70mph(45mph zone) in North Salisbury RT13 thats like a racetrack up there.
ReplyDeleteSpeed cameras gave them all tickets!!
ReplyDelete(O wait, they don't put them on the bypass where people really speed 90+mph)
this video didnt seem to bad. but i have been seeing salisbury taxi cabs messing up on rt 13 in salisbury lately. even wrote some of them up, and may get a little more tonight. not picking on then alone, but if i see some of their messy driving, expect to be stopped tonight

ReplyDeleteIf there is no traffic around how is the driver clogging up the fast lane?
How do we know it was cab drivers? It could have been techs test driving cars. Besides, who cares? Did they hit anything or anybody? I see the same idiots every morning on 50 running similar speeds.
ReplyDeletewatch out for the NAPA Auto parts delivery drivers in there little Ford Rangers speeding in N. Salisbury rt.13. They are always speeding and tailgating ... an accident waiting to happen.
ReplyDelete1:26 comment- you can't see whats behind the driver ...the way ppl exceed the speed limit on the eastern shore im sure he had a line of traffic behind him waiting for him to finish his little video.

ReplyDeleteYou can't have it both ways. You can't say there is no traffic around and then in the next breath say they are clogging it up.
My backyard adjoins the bypass. This happens all the time. It's only going to get worse with the nice weather. As soon as they hit the Johnson Rd. (southbound)overpass they gun the engines for the straight away to the end of the bypass. They've already started with the "crotch rockets" that go 90+.
ReplyDeleteWho cares? Let them kill themselves. It will catch up to them eventually.
