A Georgetown co-ed told Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s hearing that the women in her law school program are having so much sex that they’re going broke, so you and I should pay for their birth control.
Speaking at a hearing held by Pelosi to tout Pres. Obama’s mandate that virtually every health insurance plan cover the full cost of contraception and abortion-inducing products, Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke said that it’s too expensive to have sex in law school without mandated insurance coverage.
Apparently, four out of every ten co-eds are having so much sex that it's hard to make ends meet if they have to pay for their own contraception, Fluke's research shows.
Maybe they should move to Nevada and sell their sex legally. That would help defray their costs. The taxpayers should not subsidize whores even if they do go to law school. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteIf these idiots (or their parents) can afford a $45K plus annual college expense, then they should be able to afford birth control. They can stay on their parents insurance until they are 25. Let their parents upgrade their insurance policies to include contraceptive. If this is the kind of stupidity that is coming out of our institutes of "higher" learning and from half of the people running the country, I can see why America is on it's way down. This is all just an election year democrat ploy anyway. They are trying to distract us with this kind of nonsense to take the focus off of what they have done to this country in the last three years.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Slick Willie Clinton go to that law school -- maybe that's why . . .
ReplyDeletejust say NO to paying for anyones birth control. this is absurd. our government is lame at best. by the way, i feel it is truly a freedom of religion issue. the government has NO right to force this on anyone.
ReplyDeleteWhat she actually attempted to testify about was a classmate of hers being forced to have an ovary removed because her insurance wouldn't cover birth control pills that reduced the sists in her ovary. This was spun by rush Limbaugh. The whole spin doesn't even make sense. Birth control pills cost the same no matter how much you have sex. If you want to attack a group of people, it shouldn't be young women in law school.
ReplyDeleteSo she chose to have an ovary removed rather than paying out of pocket for birth control pills? My grandmother is on a fixed income, and sometimes she has to choose what bills to pay and which ones to let go every month, but she always buys her heart meds! Something sounds fishy here.
ReplyDeleteWhere were these co-eds when I was in school?
ReplyDeleteIf these college girls need sex I will buy the condoms. Bring it on!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you that when I went to law school the gals were all ugly and none put out, not like that slut that was talking.
ReplyDelete5:55, nobody cares about the truth of this matter. It makes much better reading to call a young girl a slut who wasn't even talking about herself. This is someone's daughter who was trying to make a point to her government officials. Why bother? The fact that is has nothing to do with sex is beyond these blockheads. This is what happens to people who dare to speak up and not hide behind anonymous.
