Senate Moves To Give Judges 3% Pay Raise For Next Three Years

The Senate rejected a floor amendment to freeze judges’ salaries at current levels Monday night as the Senate cleared the way for final passage of a 3% pay raise over three years – an increase of up to $14,500 by 2016. Democrats shot down an amendment to freeze judges’ salaries by a 33-9 vote along party lines.

  1. I read where there will so be no middle class. Just the rich and the poor. This is happening in the U.S. with so many goverment people getting raises and the rest none.

  2. Federal employees pay is now frozen, and judges are getting 3% pay raises?? How can this be???
    There are folks that could use that $14,000/year as they have been out of work for a year or more.

  4. Unbelievable is all I can say...they protect no one but themselves and their very own greed...how can we as a country afford this when so many people aren't working and so many more on welfare...where is this money going to come from?????

  6. They get the raise in exchange for increasing fines and court costs which helps the dumbocrats pay for all their needless programs
