  1. Well someone tell me how the f*** are the cops going to be able to determine if they are 8 yrs old or not?

Heck I'm 30 and no one can tell I am, In fact I look 15 years younger than I am...

Unless they start making kids 8 and younger have to be in a car seat, which is stupid in my opinion...

In stead of forcing someone not to smoke in their own car, how about you enforce the laws you already have, where as you make the smokers move away from the fucking door so I can walk in and out with out smelling or being in a cloud of smoke...

Its also funny how china and everyone else want to control the population or kill people secretly, and yet they are worried about kids health...

Excellent point! This most likely didn't even cross the minds of our supposedly illustrious politicians.

  3. Pointless. This is more important? How about worrying about kids who starve to death first? Or those who do not have a home to sleep in when it is 30 degrees outside. No lets take away more rights of the people because that is more important at this time. Anyone around smoke is going to get harmed by it, but sometimes bad things happen to you in life. I am tired of the government trying to stop all the "bad things" from happening by taking away rights. People live to be 80+ by now is it really affecting kids that much?

  4. Does anyone know which way Senator Mathias voted?

First off I am not a smoker, nor do I have children BUT I am offended by the fact that a politician is going to tell anyone what they can do in their personal property which they bought and paid for. How dare them!

  5. This is a rediculous law. This is the lawmakers attempting to justify their jobs. It's OUTRAGEOUS that the Govt wants, yet AGAIN, to climb into our cars and tell us what to do.
I am not a smoker but am considering taking it up because of this crap.
I totally agree with the above comments.

  6. Not a smoker. Just someone so sick and tired of our rights being chipped away one law at a time.

Just the other night I was reading to my husband Del McDermott's update. For certain reasons we do not donate to any local/state campaigns. We have decided to break our own rule and donate to Del McDermott if he chooses to continue in public office.
We are to the point where we don't give a hoot in hell as to who knows our political views anymore.

  7. Another intrusion into the lives of our citizens. What's next, maybe they will make a law that Catholic children under 8 years of age have to eat meat on Good Friday.

  8. My goodness, how did we ever survive growing up it times past?

We had no seatbelts, smoke hanging in air like L.A. on a smog alert day, no pills for every little ailment, etc.

I just love being protected from myself, don't you?
