We don't have a problem with police officers enforcing laws that prohibit people from driving and talking on their cellphones at the same time. Where we draw the line is at the application of this law to a man who didn't even have a cellphone in the car with him.
Reminds me of the time that I got a citation/fine from a game warden for hunting wildfowl after legal shooting hours. I never fired my shotgun because there were no ducks. His reason for issuing the fine was that had there been ducks to shoot at I would have been shooting. Psychic enforcement. The only fine I ever received. Oh yeah, my gun was empty when he checked me.
ReplyDeletegood thing he wasn't down here doing that, they would have broken his nose and most likely shot him!
ReplyDeleteMost policeman abuse their power because they ticket people any way they can because when I went fishing before we got a ticket for catching a fish under the size limit but I'm sure that you are suppose to measure it from the zero and not on the giant one inch gap from the zero on the ruler.
