Is This Why Sandra Fluke Went Public?

Prior to her statements to congressional Democrats, did Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke have any prior connection to Obama administration officials?

Did the congresswomen who pushed Fluke’s testimony coordinate with a marketing and polling outfit that recently conducted a survey to determine whether contraception mandates can become a possible presidential election issue?

According to some reports, it was Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., who pushed for Fluke’s testimony. Maloney also initiated the call for Fluke to sue Rush Limbaugh for his on-air derogatory remark about Fluke, according to the Daily Beast.

Maloney is tied to a progressive pollster, Celinda Lake, who recently ran extensive polling in an effort to gauge voters’ reactions to including birth control or contraception in insurance coverage.

  1. ha ha, sounds like a fun round of 6 degrees of separation. Please tell me again how this relates to a citizen being grossly insulted just for voicing her views in the public square. I'm not one of the Rush censorists out here, but this incident should show us all how ugly civil political discourse has become. Don't agree with someone? Label them a slut or an evil socialist dictator. Meanwhile Rome still burns.

  2. So it seems this young lady was a political pawn for the upcoming national election...is this Chicago style politics or the new normal Democratic tactic.... either way, she was allowed her 15 minutes of fame and after the politicos are finished with her, she'll be the one who suffers the shame alone.

  3. But it is OK for Bill Maher to call Sarah Palin a Cun- and Ed Shultz to call laura Ingraham a slut. The left only gets outraged when a conservative screws up and makes a mistake. For gods sake Bill Clinton raped a woman and nothing was done about it.

  4. Well, with her stated cost of $3000 in birth control costs per year, that works out to having sex 8 times per day every day of the year. Maybe that was over inflated and Flukes is just a liar rather than a slut. Which ever the case, the label seems more accurately a description of behavior, not one of insult.

  5. Pretty sure Bill Clinton was never found guilty of rape.

  6. Wal-Mart sells a month's supply of birth control pills for $9.00. What was this woman using; a gold-plated diaphragm?

  7. If you are old enough to be having sex you should also be responsible enough to pay for your own birth control.

  8. She already has been tied to the White house. She's a fraud.
