Between red stop-signs on Facebook reading “Stop the Republican War on Women,” the latest activist video characterizing Republicans as he-man, woman-haters, and Gloria Allred, Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda doing just about anything (Monster-in-Law, anyone?) someone has to just come out and (insert expletive in the progressive tense here) say it. The government is not your daddy.
Gloria, Gloria and Jane were up in arms, (again), calling on the Federal Communications Commission to pull the plug on Rush Limbaugh’s show:
If Clear Channel won’t clean up its airways, then surely it’s time for the public to ask the FCC a basic question: Are the stations carrying Limbaugh’s show in fact using their licenses “in the public interest?”
Well, gee, I didn’t realize you could abuse the 1st Amendment, but apparently censorship is OK as long as you have a workout video.
So, what does Richard Simmons have to say?
ReplyDeleteIf Rush was as rude or used language like Bill Maher, the left would be calling for castration instead of censorship.
