Could Wicomico County Support This?

KISS AND MOTLEY CRUE: THE TOUR

  1. Should not be a problem. The Civic Centre has 3 million dollars worth of new parking for the 800 people that will attend. You want to really have a bunch of fun with this one? Require a drug piss test to gain admission.

  6. Just more has been bands that are trying to resuscitate their old music because they have no new music to tour with. That's all the civic center ever gets.

If they were expecting large turnouts they would do a summer festival tour to make a lot more money. They know they won't draw the numbers needed to even break even.

Antique Roadshow would draw a bigger audience. Bring Ozzie here, he wanted to do Salisbury many moons ago but the Good Ole Boyz didn't like that and refused to allow him to play here!

People wonder what makes this area "Back Woods?"

  7. It would be a blast. Love to see kiss but Crüe? Not so much. I miss grudge Thorogood who used to play here in the 80's

  8. Yeah...no reason to waste time going ANYWHERE on the Eastern Shore. Crap venues with no population to speak of. They will be playing at Jiffy Lube Live(formerly Nissan Pavilion) in NoVA. But that venue is crap as well.

  9. Rams Head in Annapolis and the Bottle and Cork in Dewey get better bands than the civic center.

  10. Sure. A bunch of us went to the ZZ Top concert at the Civic Center a few years ago. I don't know if it was sold out, but it was close to it.

  11. Actually, Ozzie and David Lee Roth both played here, back in the late 80s. I went to both shows at the Civic Center.

  15. We don't have enough seating. They will be playing 15,000 seat minimum arenas.

  16. Not my favorite bands but I might go and to the first opening comment about drug testing I have smelt and seen more pot and coke done at a Willie Nelson concert I was at than any rock show I've been to. My slate isn't pure but in that example it is. I don't think enough tickets would be sold remember when Cheap Trick pulled out of an announced tour date years ago that was because of lousy ticket sales.
