  1. I've been reading about this and I'm having doubts about the whole story. I'm not sure I even believe these guys were out in a canoe. It makes no sense that he broke into a home for dry clothes instead of trying to find a home where people were home to call for help.

  2. My thoughts have been with the family of Nicholas Townsend alot since Friday. I live nearby in Williamsville right up Rt 54 and saw the helicopter searching that day. I wish there was someway to shoulder some of their pain.

  3. The story going around... the gentleman had been in the canoe... stolen of course... going to boats on lifts and stealing the electronics from them. When the canoe tipped, their ill gotten gain went to the bottom, along with their friend.

Sad story about how crime doesn't pay, and a likely Darwin Award candidate.
