January 24, 31st and February 2nd 2012,Members of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office conducted alcohol compliance checks at several locations throughout Worcester County. The Deputies checked 58 stores and restaurants that sell Alcohol in Worcester County. 47 of those establishments did not sell alcohol to a minor during the compliance check. 11 of the establishments did sell alcohol to a minor.
The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind businesses in the County that have liquor licenses to check everyone’s identification thoroughly and if you are not sure if someone is over the age of 21 do not sell them alcohol. For training or more information please contact the Worcester County Board of License Commissioners for Alcoholic beverage licenses, The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office or your local Law Enforcement.

I was in one of the locations that did not sell to a minor.The cadet looked like he was about 21 or 22,but in reality he was probably 19 or 20.The clerk did not personally know the guy,but he knew why he was there.I guess the cadet just looked too much like a cop,even though he was dressed in plain clothes.After he had walked out of the store,the clerk had a few choice words for him.

It's like having the police only follow certain people around while driving and never checking others.
pizza tugos seems to have a problem with not checking id's. perhaps they shouldn't have a liquor license...
