Unleaded fuel is currently trading at $3.01 a gallon right now at the NYSE. That means you add the combined federal and Maryland state tax of 42.9 cents a gal. AND the profit of 3 cents a gal for the merchant, AND the cost to ship it. That means...hold on to your wallets when you get near the fuel pumps. $4.00 a gal gasoline is very close. And you all think things are expensive now......
yeah and?
ReplyDeleteits not going to stop people from driving
This is a direct result of Obama refusing to allow the pipeline project to start.
ReplyDeleteDiesel Fuel jumped up 10 cents more per gallon this week. Now it's $3.94 a gallon.I actually buy my fuel at Shell on Mondays to save 10 cents per. So I actually paid only 3.74 a gallon. What a bargain NOT!!
ReplyDeletelol, yeah 5:56, because it's not like gas prices had already been trending up over 2011, or prior to the recession for that matter
ReplyDeleteMatbe voting will help...
ReplyDeleteYes, this is what Obama wanted. The gas prices are on him!
ReplyDeleteCongress passed a law during the Bush administration that oil drilled in the US can be sold by US companies to the highest bidder worldwide. If you think the pipeline would have caused prices to come down in our country, you're mistaken but it would have been a nice gift to oil companies.
ReplyDeleteWhat about our great governor's proposed increase sales tax per gallon on gasoline ?
