New Signal on Route 113 and Arrow Safety Road Near Georgetown to Become Operational
Advisory Period to Begin Monday, February 27
Georgetown -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that a new traffic signal will be activated at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 27. The signal will be activated in a flash operation for a period of 72 hours. Nationally, the flash operation indicates to motorists that a new signal is in place and serves as a training period before full activation.
After the 72-hour "alert period" the signal will be converted to full stop and go operation on Thursday, March 1.
Variable Message signs (VMS) will advise motorists in advance of the new traffic pattern.
