  4. YES Need as many as we can afford. Those who say no. If your child or parent were killed, kidnapped, robbed, raped wouldnt it be nice to have that person on tape so we can find out what happened, and who they are. The dead cant speak for themselves but the camera CAN.
Better think twice before saying NO to the camereas.

  7. To anon 11:22pm:

You better think again... What if it was your child being spied on through the door or window by this so call camera we need so dear...

What if they use these so called needed cameras to track down drug dealers and oops they got the wrong guy and the wrong house and they bust into your house shooting everyone? (has happened, and recent too)

With the turn of events in the news about all these cops rapping and killing when going to the wrong house on a call... and you want more ways for them to mess with you or to spy on you...

These cameras are not needed... Secondly, its another excuse for COPS to be LAZY FAT ASSES whom don't do their job as it is...

Anon 11:22am ALWAYS REMEMBER that the shit you want to be used for the good, will ALWAYS, yes I said ALWAYS will be used for BAD...

Also, once people are aware of these cameras, its not hard to go somewhere they are not to do the crime...

Secondly do you want your taxes raised to pay for this because who the fuck can afford cameras and to watch them and for the servers in which it is stored? IF you say yes then why the fuck don't you come up off your personal money to cover this or to help so we don't have to...

  8. 11:22 So should we put cameras in your house? how about rest rooms? how about TSA at walmart how about in your car? you might talk on your cell phone and we should know, or your work place. I would say watch what you ask for you just might get it.

  9. I'm not thrilled with the idea but due to the crime rate & gangs in the area it might not be a bad idea.

  10. This was tried in Baltimore. Dealers shoot them with paintball guns.

I will not trade liberty for security.

  11. yes. let police shoot to kill too. let these criminals start thinking...

  12. always desire liberty. security is a very slippery path. do your homework. read history and learn from it.

those that desire security over liberty don't deserve either.

  13. I do pay for MY security camera at my business. It has paid off several times. We were accused by a minor of pushing him out of our business..the camera proved other wise. Ill keep mine and I will pay for mine.
Still think if you are not breaking the law what problem do you have.

  14. Sure. Then all the people who want to use their personal tragedy to give away MY rights can assemble in town and start goose-stepping in unison (you know, so our government can see what great citizens they are). The we can put them in their bedrooms to make sure they aren't doing anything that I don't like....then we can put microphones in THEIR house to make sure that they aren't talking about (or planning or supporting) anything that the government doesn't like (under the premise of "if you aren't, then why worry?"). These kinds of things are NEVER presented to citizens as MORE surveillance, more INTRUSION, more degradation of the rights that so many Americans have died to keep and protect. Uh uh. Its ALWAYS for own own good; to get the latest scary "threat", or to righteously stop some evil thing (like impaired drivers, which have now turned into full-blown searches and checks -- of overwhemingly INNOCENT !! people for all sorts of crime). The very sad fact is that there are MILLIONS of non-thinking sheep who continue to fall for this reasoning and, in doing so, negate and disrespect the sacrifices in lives and property made by millions of Americans from Thomas Jefferson to the latest victim of our "conflicts" and in the very streets of this country. SHAME on you. Absolute, unmitigated, and total shame.
