WHITE LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - An unusual school zone speed limit sign in suburban Detroit has drawn the attention of an irked driver.
Greg Smith tells The Oakland Press of Pontiac ( http://bit.ly/zeVCbZ) that he noticed the sign recently in Oakland County's White Lake Township that lists six separate times when drivers should slow down to 25 mph on school days.
Smith says drivers "practically have to come to a stop to read it." An elementary, middle and high school all are nearby.

ReplyDeleteExactly, they call it "speed control", I call it trying to make a quick buck off the citizens. Of course I am sure we will get plenty of the "You should always follow the law, I always do blah blah blah" type of responders.
And I am sure that we will be getting all the "Big Brother" and "Raping the Wallet" comments. Why do you feel it is okay to break the law? Can't wait to hear your response.

Why don't you cops answer that question?
Why doesn't someone use them for target practice?
