Bill Approved By Senate On Thursday
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Same sex marriage opponents said they have taken the first steps to bring legislation legalizing gay marriage to referendum.
Delegate Neil Parrott said he filed draft language for a referendum petition with the state Board of Elections on Friday, a day after the Senate joined the House in approving a bill to allow same sex unions.

ReplyDeletei wont sign,,,,i couldnt care less what one does in their home or bedroom...but in my opinion....if it goes to the ballot i will vote against it...i do not believe in a man with a man or a woman with a woman...if you do i will respect your choice, if a family member i will love you the same..i will not judge you for its not up to me to judge you, we will all stand b4 God one day and answer for all we do or dont do.... i know what God says in the Bible about it, he is very specific and clear on the subject...i will NOT can not go into the polling place and vote in favor of this and go against God...if it passes then yay for you...but i will not help it happen. i will not go against God.

If they had done it as a civil union, I wouldn't have been against it (although it is against my religios teachings). God recognizes this government as much as this government is recognizing God.
The people don't want it and the only reason OweMalley wanted it was for publicity because he wants to run for president which is a joke.

ReplyDeleteI say leave this alone as it's just playing into O'malley's plan. He wants this to be the big issue so focus is off of his failures.
ReplyDeleteAlso the message I've been getting has been consistant in that most everyone thinks this has set homosexuals way back. Before people could accept their lifestyle choices but I haven't talked to one person (and my friends are by no stretch of the imagination religious) who favors the idea of same sex marriage.
Alot think O'malley's hoodwinked the gay community and has used them as a diversion.
