STERLING, Va. (AP) - A senior Pentagon official apologized Friday to Washington-area Muslims for the burning of Qurans at a military base in Afghanistan.
Peter Lavoy, acting assistant secretary of defense for Asia and Pacific security affairs, said the military is investigating what occurred and that all 140,000 coalition troops in Afghanistan are being retrained in the handling of religious materials.
Lavoy apologized multiple times during a brief speech during prayer services at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, one of the largest mosques in the country.
Why? Once is enough ! These animals went into the afghan ministry and just killed two Americans and we are apologizing over books? This is ridiculous. No more Mr nice.no more apologies. President Obama needs to lay the law down.if one more American casualty occurs than America will react with extreme prejudice. We need to go and wipe them all out.Iran as well.and when we do...take all their resources and hand them out to Americans free of charge.well not free.we've paid from American deaths and taxes
ReplyDeleteLets have a Quran burning in protest.
ReplyDeleteAnd let the next. Holy Wars......being!
ReplyDeleteNot once did Obama give condolence to the families of the two soldiers killed, but did apologize to the Afghans. As far as I'am concerned, his actions are a act of treason. Like the Fort Hood Muslim killer, the first thing out of Obamas mouth was "let's not jump to conclusions". Question?, whose side is he on.
ReplyDeleteTwo more brave American soldiers killed today. And progressive liberals continue the fantasy that Islam is the "Religion of Peace". Islam is barbaric and evil. They really are trying to kill all of us who do not believe in Mohammed people, it is not a joke.
ReplyDelete9:24 - You want another try at that?
