1. 17 year old white male of New Freedom, Pa.
2. Yancy Keith Mayers 19 year old white male of Salisbury, Md

BRIEF RESUME: On the above date and time Tfc. K. Phillips stopped a motor vehicle at the above location for a seatbelt violation. The Trooper observed that both the driver (17 year old white male) and the front seat passenger (Mayers) were extremely nervous to the point that they were shaking and kept staring back at the Trooper after he had returned to his cruiser. Based on that and other indicators of criminal behavior the Trooper requested a drug detecting K-9 and Officer Caton and K-9 Miso from the Salisbury Police Department responded to assist. Miso gave a positive alert on the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted resulting in the recovery of a quantity of marihuana and smoking devices. Both suspects were placed under arrest and transported to the Barrack for processing. While in route to the barrack, the 17 year old juvenile stated that he was directed by his mother who was visiting friends in Delaware to go to the bank in Salisbury, take out money and purchase Marihuana and return it to her in Delaware. The adult suspect was transported to the Wicomico County Central Booking unit for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner and was subsequently released without bail. The Wicomico County Department of Juvenile Justice was contacted for detention of the juvenile and informed of the facts of the case, and they decided to release the juvenile back to his mother. The juvenile’s mother came to the Salisbury Barrack and signed for his release. She is facing charges at a later date.

  1. Another "seat belt" violation that turns into a drug search. No way these kids were acting nervous after being stopped by the cops. Hell I am grown and I get nervous when I get stopped by the cops because who knows what will happen in these times. I could get shot for being at the wrong place as the 45 year old lady from DE.

For getting a little pot? That's outstanding to you?

Might be true tho. If that is outstanding then getting some real criminals would be a miracle.

  4. So no odors just nervous? He held them there till a k9 git there. A hit then a probable cause search? Its wrong.cops do this all the time.hell if a cop asked to search your vehicle and you refuse ....all he's gonna do is take his time doing the ticket then the dog shows up and they don't need your permission anymore.dogs are for lazy scared cops. To scared or slow get the dog.cops should only use a dog to track missing people!
