Gas Prices Aren't Rising, The Dollar Is Falling

Enough.

This whole, blame the evil oil companies for this gas spiral.

Enough.

People who know better sounding like they have brains made out of butter.

I've heard the prattling on, now time for some basic facts to sink in.

Gas prices aren't rising.

The dollar is falling.

Let me explain that.

Oil is priced in dollars.

Dollars are getting cheaper.

It takes more of them to buy oil.

So oil gets more expensive.

Gas gets more expensive.

  1. Time to re-write the narrative again, because at the end of the day, a Republican cannot demonize the oil comanies. He just can't do it.

  2. Drop out of the fossil fuel addiction. I know it's hard but the right thing to do is almost always the hardest thing to do. Go electric, ride a bike, walk, car pool, etc... There are so many options for folks then getting in a giant chunk of metal to carry one person around town to buy things they can't afford. Stop waiting and crying for the government and big oil corps to help you with your travel. There is so much more to life then paper money and gasoline no matter what the MSM says.

  3. the dollar is falling; hence all prices are rising. this has happened before but this time unless we get "real change" in the administration soon it won't be reversed.

we have had years (since carter) to change our energy policy. we could have drilled and processed our own oil for the past "many" years but chose to get it from other sources. i really never understood the reasoning behind that choice. still doesn't make sense to me.

pray for a good president this time around. pray the "people" aren't fooled again. and pray for our nation that we call upon God, the "author and finisher" of our faith. we are a desperate people and need to return to our faith as never before.

  4. It's reaching the point where the reason no longer matters to the people. Obama Juice just costs too much and we should not tolerate his inaction in doing ANYTHING about it.

  5. unfortunately drilling and pipelines are the answer for short term solutions. We aren't going to change the oil needs overnight therefore we must do what can be accomplished the fastes to give us relief. Wake up folks. Ever stop to figure out how your going to produce all this electric for the cars. Big business is already figuring out how to charge you fees for that and the govt is looking for ways to tax it. Wel I would never of thought.

  6. This post is exactly right. It should also be said that the record profits shown by any company at all is directly tied to the devaluation of the dollar. Even if a company were to earn 10% more this year...if the dollar is worth 12% less, the company has actually earned 2% less than the year before. This is the simple math of it all. Don't let Obama and the government shills play with these figures and make you believe that the "wealthy" are ruining this country. This is exactly what happened to the Weimer Republic. The economy was going south and the government was to blame. The "people" needed a boogey man and Hitler gave it to them.....the Jews. We all know what happened after that.
