WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- A local doctor is making the bold claim that the key to shedding pounds, reversing diabetes and stopping migraines is to cut out an ingredient that most people believe is healthy.
Dr. William Davis, a cardiologist from Wauwatosa, said the common ingredients are wheat and whole grains.
"Two slices of whole-wheat bread raise sugar higher than a Snickers bar," Davis said.
I thought it ironic that an ad on this story's source site is for Subway.
ReplyDeletethis is where the Low Carb plan comes from. it's true; sugar and white flour are deadly for human consumption. this includes bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar, anything that raises the blood sugar quickly and then crashes. our bodies have a real hard time with this. the connection is diabetes, weight gain, heart problems etc.
ReplyDeletejust change your habits to cut out the above and of course this would include some fruit and sugary drinks. drink lots of water.

I tried the low carb diet and never felt better in my life plus I lost 50 lbs without exorcise. just sayin.
