  1. Who cares!!!! We have WAYYYY more important things to worry about in this country!! Jobs, Economy, Troops and etc. This should not even be a issue!!!! It's a disgrace - I can't wait for November!!!!!!!!
Next thing you know, you will have people wanting to marry their dogs, cats and etc.
This country is going to hell quickly and WAKE UP AMERICA or we can all bend over and kiss our asses Good-BYE!!!!!!!!

  2. Absolotely!! But we have to find a way to convince our legislators that this is not what they are elected to do. It needs to be made clear to these people that social issues, personal issues etc are not their business - you can't legislate values and morals. They are there to run the business of the state not the business of the citizens.

Who cares? You are an idiot if you don't care!! We need to care and get this over with. I am not worried about phsycho's marrying their cats I am worried about Gays molesting my children after you liberals declare it's ok.

  4. @11: 33 is a great example of an uneducated person just throwing out others beliefs because they are different then those he/she values. Seriously though equating the gay rights movement to the civil rights movement is a stretch but saying "next we will be allowed to marry our dogs or cats" is a justifiable argument I guess. What delusional world we live in today.

  5. SALISBURY NEWS: Ireton calls for at-will department heads, split of Internal Services

Just posted in the Rag. Jim Ireton is at it again. He is again starting a fight with the Council President. I as a citizen am sick and tired of Jim Ireton's Reign of Terror. He wants all control of the city with out council input. You talk about a lack of checks and balances.

If the Internal Services department is split in to that gives him more power over another department head. It also means the tax payers will be paying for 2 department heads instead of the one for Internal Services. This clown is on a power trip.

Don't let this one slip by Joe.
