Dear Joe,
Now that the dust, or soot in this case, has settled, I thought I'd write you a quick note about the fire at the Board of Ed. I realize that at the time of your post, you had no idea where the fire had broken out and you were simply asking the question. However, none of your readers had any idea either, it appears. The fire was not at the print shop, the maintenance shop, nor the main office building. It was actually a small portable which is located on Mt. Hermon Rd. The people who work in that building are part of the IT department. However, sorry to disappoint your readers who believe that this fire is part of a huge conspiracy to rid the world of proof of the issues plaguing the WCBOE right now. The mainframe is not housed in this building. No computer storage, no security tapes, nothing like that at all. It was mostly office space. Hopefully, they will find a cause for the fire soon. In the meantime, I am sure you will be giving your readers enough to keep them busy with the drama there at the WCBOE. Thanks for your time.
Last I heard it was a bank of Laptop batteries that went up while charging.
ReplyDeletesome more of our tax money up in flames
ReplyDeleteIt isn't whether evidence was destroyed or not. It's that many believe the Board's leadership is not above doing it that shows we don't trust the superintendent. When what went on in Minnesota is almost identical to what has gone here, is he just unlucky?
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing in Mr. Fredricksen and letting us know the real story.
ReplyDeleteLook back at the posts about the tech department, specifically Donna Matteson...who according to the posts was the one confiscating computers etc. Guess where her office was. Coincidence?
ReplyDeleteSo do we know what really happened?
