Biden: Put Osama on Obama's 2012 bumper sticker

The quest marches on for a bumper sticker for the 2012 Obama campaign, and Vice President Joseph Biden Jr. believes the slogan should highlight the death of Osama bin Laden.

At a campaign event in Manchester, N.H., Thursday night, Mr. Biden offered this suggestion for the campaign's 2012 bumper sticker: "Osama bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive."

The vice president said the bailout of the American auto industry saved "millions" of jobs, including 20,000 in New Hampshire. The administration cites the killing of bin Laden last spring as one of its top national-security achievements.

The search for a catchy bumper sticker for the president's reelection campaign has been elusive. In October, Mr. Obama suggested the slogan could be, ""Our vision for the future."

But don't look for either the president's or vice president's suggestions anytime soon on the car in front of you.

  1. Obama was only able to kill bin Laden because of policies put into effect by the Bush Administration. Bush should receive all the credit as he kept us safe for eight years and brought about the capture and killing of major terrorist.

    1. 8 years really? Let me remind you 9/11 happened on Bush' s watch after several memos warned him of an impending attack via hijacking airplanes. Bush's policies were effective in keeping us safe for the rest of his tenure, but were also successful of stripping Americans of their basic civil liberties. Too bad Obama signed the Patriot Act after he pledged not to continuing these oppressive policies. However, YOU CANNOT give credit to a president and his administration who are no longer in office for orchestrating and having the courage to go through with a special operation, essentially invading another country to capture the most wanted terrorist in the world. It takes saavy and guts! Obama and his administration deserve all the credit for this. And let me remind you, Obama has knocked off Al-Quieda leaders one after the other and foiled several terrorist plots. Quit drinking the Republican kool aid and turn off Fox news!

  2. Maybe we should put Fisker Automotive on Biden's bumper stickers to remind us of the idiot loans to nowhere this administration has been making.

  3. Please tell me again the difference between osama and Obama. They both seem(ed) rigid and full of themselves...

  4. I think the bumper sticker should say the truth and show honesty. It should say something that we can say to one another, for once he's telling the truth. My nomination for the bumper sticker is:

I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP OR NEED YOUR IMPUT. I'M GOING TO DO IT
    " OBAMA " SELF!

  5. Why not put Solyndra on his bumper sticker? That would better define him. Or you could put a picture of the Unemployment line... oops, that wouldn't fit.

  6. 402, so funny. So Bush deserves credit for something that happens 2 years after his presidency but doesn't deserve credit for a recession that started on HIS watch?
