  1. It's really nice to hear positive things about those who are running our schools. Amazing how a little caring and effort can and will make such a big difference for children, parents and the school, then trickling out to the community and on and on it goes. We neeed more parent/family supports.

The halmark of a good school is one that involves parents. There is a saying, "You cannot know what you have not been told". I hope Principal Curtis continues this every year. I wish every school was required to do this. Reach out to the parents... they need family support education too. What a great principal. He has started a great improvement.

  2. How about becoming "husbands"? And why does it have to take a special effort by the schools to TELL men that their children need them and how it is much better to have their father wake up and cook breakfast than to have them wake up when the guard tells them it's "exercise time"? I suppose if you miss the "be a good dad" seminar, you're off the hook because no one TOLD you anything???
