Arlington National Cemetery is a lot more full than anyone knew. It is estimated that more than 400,000 people are now interred there, which is 20 percent more than the previous estimates of about 330,000.
I've seen a lot in my life. But there is only a handful of times I've been gripped like I was when I visited Arlington. In every direction, as far as the eye can see.
As to what went on there, it is disturbing, and criminal. There should be prosecution from the top to the bottom, from those that dug the mass graves, and those that ordered them dug. Of all the rhetoric we've all heard our entire lives, to desecrate those honorable men and women; nothing less than hard time.
