  1. first lady needs to get a life. she's wrong as most libs are and i hope we get someone in next time who has a working "moral compass".

  2. i don't think the word moral can be associated with any politicals in maryland. It is an unknown zone to them. Perhaps we should have a First Man.

  3. Good for the First lady, I am a Staunch Republican, and am not for Gay marriage, but am not Against it. It is not the governments business to intrude in my personal life enough to tell me who I can and can not marry. I am a republican because I like small government, not be cause I am a christian.

  4. She is a disgrace and a coward herself. She needs a set of standards. Clearly she has none.

  5. I wonder if she feels the same way about bigamy. Same thing.

  6. How can someone who stands up for their convictions be labeled a coward? The O'Malleys wouldn't understand that because they have no convictions; they just do what's politically expedient at the moment.

  7. 1:40 "get a life"? Yet you are apart of the crowd that is more worried about the lives of gay couples than your own. lol

Anywho, the first lady used the wrong term. "Retards" would have been more appropriate. Or how about "hypocrites"? The same folks thumping their pocket constitutions are the same ones that want to deny other citizens their rights just because "gays make them a little uncomfortable".

  8. Why,care who is with who? If they don't hurt you or hit on you give it a rest. There are more impotant things to worry about. map

  9. I believe all people should have equal rights. Why is everyone so afraid of gay marriage. It's not like they are going to live at your house. People need to take care of their own lives and stop the prejudice against others.

  10. I don't think they are cowards, just misinformed and on the wrong side of history. they will go down like the last proponents of segregation, and will be an embarrassment to their families.

  11. If the governor and first lady want to be gay then go ahead just keep their bedroom away from the public.

  12. She an idiot just like her husband O'Dumbass

  13. 1:58, you are "not for it and not against it", so you are middle of the road and you would therefore be "roadkill".

you can't have it both ways. so get off the toilet.

if "gays" want to be together let the state give them a certificate, but not "marriage". God ordained marriage between a man and a woman for a purpose. that's the bottom line.

  14. I'm not sure who Mrs. Obama thinks she is but God's word stands in the way of gay marriage, calling it an abomination. So, the civil government can pass any laws they like, but it it is probably gross, foolish error to call God a coward!

  15. Good reading skills, TAL. It isn't Mrs. Obama.

And by all means, let's limit marrige to Britney Spears, as God intended it!

  16. 3:25 No, it is you who is the embarrassment for being "misinformed" about God's word.

  17. I'm not against them having the same rights - I'm against it being called marriage.....

  18. Oh right, Mr. Littleton, I think Mrs. Obama probably stole the little grey cat in the lost cat post. I think she also voted to fund Bennett Middle School. You are so ready to blame the Obamas for all the woes of the world, you forget to READ!

  19. 4:15,

You are well founded in your criticism of my reading skills. I was lazy and just skimming, never a good thing!. My apologies to Mrs. Obama. And, as one should always do when a big error is pointed out, I sincerely thank you for doing so. I humbly amend my comment to say that it is probably not wise for Maryland's First Lady to call God a coward.

I'm no expert on the Christian, Jewish, or Islamic religions, but I believe all three Abrahamic traditions agree on this one. I know that in the Bible, God says homosexuality is an abomination. So, as that stands against gay marriage, I submit that it is not wisdom for anyone to call God a coward. Now, we may say our civil government and laws won't be based on any religion's edicts, but I'm glad that silly woman called God a coward, not me!

  20. I wouldn't use the word "coward". I would use the words "irrational bigots", or "religious zealots", or "morons", or "folks that cannot pose one substantial argument supporting their position and that's why they are loosing the argument"...... but "cowards"? No... I don't think I would say cowards... their are many who will bravely, and foolishly, try to defend and fail at this.

  21. With the Libtards accepting homosexuality and gay marriage will be the downfall of America. You think Salisbury is a laughing stock? Wait till the rest of the world finds out America has professionals in the sport of Butt Darts!

  22. Who cares what she said, everybody who is against gay marriage needs to just get over it because it's happening, don't you see that? One by one, each state is legalizing it, and it's gaining speed. It's happening faster and faster. Give it a few years, it will be legal in all states, and then federally. Just give up. You've lost the battle trying to withhold civil rights and one day, we will look back on these days, flabbergasted that it was ever illegal, just like we look at slavery and segregation....in disbelief that our FREE country would ever do such a thing. We will all be have equal civil rights soon enough! Stop trying to stop it!

  23. 7:01 So so sad. It is no way the same as slavery and segregation. Apples and oranges.

  24. I don't have anything against gay people. But as far as the religion part. God does say it is an abomination and both people should be stoned to death. So let's not say it is freedom of religion. I would think the Governor of Maryland would have bigger problems to address.

  25. This is one of the few issues that I can agree with coming out of the governors mansion.I am a heterosexual conservative and I don't believe in telling anyone who thay can or cannot bond with. This country was founded on FREEDOM.As people exercise their freedom as long as they don't break laws or hurt anyone they possess the right to do as they choose.

  26. 2:05- Gay marriage is the same thing as bigamy? Bigamy means more than one spouse. I don't recall gay bigamy being on the table here. Stay in school.

  27. 6:39- Butt Darts? Wow, that's mature. Do you live in your parents' basement?

    ReplyDelete
  28. 8:42, I didn't say it that it was the same thing as slavery, I just said it will be looked at one day as ashamed that we would ever do such a thing.

  29. 9:13 The MAJORITY disagree with you. The shame is allowing gay marriage.

  30. "America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."
    -- Alexis de Tocqueville

"Woe to him who calls evil good and good evil"

...think the argument does not matter? Think it's nobodys business to judge anothers private life? What say you to the next group that seek marital recognition such as...multiple partners...within families...with other animals? The path is not a slippery slope, it is a cliff. We live in a world of unintended consequence visited upon future generations...who will rise up and bless us or curse us.

  31. over 50 % of marriages end in divorce.
I dont think gay marriage is going to destroy the value of marriage

  32. Besides myself, does anyone else get sick of apologies? Why can't people just accept someone else's opinion? I for one love hearing what others think, and why think it and not say it.Anyone with political ties is more subject to scrutiny.Apparently folks don't want to hear their true thoughts. We could all use thicker skin.

  33. Do whatever you want mr. Governor but don't mix it in with religion. Not only does God say it is an abominatio and the twoo should be stoned to death. But God destroyed twoo whole cities in the bible for homsexuality Sodom and Gomorrah. it would be just as easy for God to detroy the U.S.A. Oh wait a minute he already is destroying America only he is using Obama.

  34. The first lady of Maryland is a judge that has taken an oath to uphold the laws of Maryland not speak out publically against the current laws. Judge O'Mally should know this and seperate her beliefs from Maryland's current laws.

  35. 7:04- Spell check? You need some commas in there too. Your spelling should be stoned to death.

  36. 12:30 Don't you have some papers to grade? Really...get a life?
