Homeland Security Wants More Authority

The chairman and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee say their panel needs more authority over the Homeland Security Department. Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) call scattered oversight an unfinished piece of business from 9/11.They've asked Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to consider a rule that would consolidate DHS oversight under their committee. They cite a White House statement claiming that DHS reports to 100 congressional panels.

  1. Of course they do. But in reality, they need less.

We the people have given the government way to much power over us. The government turns around and gives it out, without consulting with we the people, to different agencies that control us in day to day operations.

We are supposed to have checks and balances to curb that power and total chaos that would follow.

We the people have foolishly given government way too much power over us.

Getting that power back is very difficult to say the least. Damn near impossible, but it can be done.

There are two ways to accomplish this. One is through peaceful protests and negotiations. To regain control of our government, judicial system and law enforcement agencies.

The other method is through force and intimidation.

That is the one where violence is used to regain control.

We have already seen peaceful protests as well as instances of violence, directed at the peaceful protesters by the hand of the police and other means.

Their power base is under attack and their methods of control over we the people are being removed. They are approaching panic mode.

When the peaceful means of regaining control and power are removed, that is when violence comes unto the scene.

We are slowly approaching the violent stages. Slowly, but approaching nevertheless.

My advice is to prepare for a bumpy ride. It's going to get uglier and more dangerous in the time ahead.

Will continue this rant at a later time. Goodnight and have a nice day.
