Home Builders Call For Change In State Laws

New Home Construction At 50-Year Low

BALTIMORE
-- The housing market is still a long way from recovery, and according to 11 News reporter David Collins, experts said new building regulations are part of the problem.

The bleak assessment was provided to a House committee Thursday in Annapolis.

Collins said new home construction is at a 50-year low, with sales dismal and home values declining.

  1. Tighter septic tank rules will end new housing in Maryland.They will have tear down buildings in the city and put in new houses.
