DATE & TIME: Thursday January 9, 2012 @ 2100 hours

INCIDENT: Shoplifting

LOCATION: Walmart (N. Fruitland Blvd.)

CASE NO.: 2012-0042

PERSON CHARGED: Timothy R. Johnson

AGE: 40

ADDRESS: Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft under $100.00

DISPOSITION: Released to custody of Central Booking at WCDC

SYNOPSIS: On the above date and time Fruitland officers responded to the Walmart store located at 409 N. Fruitland Blvd for a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers learned that the above named suspect had concealed numerous items in a device that he had fashioned for that purpose. Officers located several items, belonging to Walmart that the suspect had attempted to exit the store without paying for. The suspect was arrested and transported to WCDC and released to Central Booking without further incident.

INCIDENT: Burglary

LOCATION: 500 Block of Hayward Avenue

CASE NO.: 2012-0052

PERSON CHARGED: Kenneth W. Watson

AGE: 49

ADDRESS: Pocomoke, Maryland

CHARGES: Burglary
Trespassing
Malicious Destruction of Property

DISPOSITION: Released to custody of Central Booking at WCDC

SYNOPSIS: On the above date and time Fruitland officers responded to the 500 Block of Hayward Avenue for a Burglary. Upon arrival Officers observed that numerous items from the residence and shed were scattered throughout the yard. Throughout the course of the investigation a suspect was developed and he was located nearby. The above named suspect was learned to have forced entry through a window and proceeded to destroy property inside of the residence. Other evidence was present linking the suspect to the crime and he was arrested and transported to WCDC and released to Central Booking without incident.
