Do Your Research Before Buying A Puppy

Anna Smith already had two West Highland terriers, but her teenage daughter was begging her for a puppy.

A quick Internet search of "West Highland white terriers" brought the family to Precious Pet Cottage's website. Smith read on the Millersville store's website that owner Anita Bobetich deals only with breeders who have been licensed and inspected by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

And certainly no puppy mills.

That sounded great to the Smiths.
