  3. There is no surprise here, our current administration speaks out of both sides of its mouth. They tell us they want to reduce our dependency on foreign oil. They tell us they want to create good paying jobs for the American people. This pipeline is a proposal that would accomplish both.We are witnessing a failed administration,an administration that cares not about the will or the well being of the people it represents. It is now time for the people of this country to band together in one voice and demand this project be approved for our well being and the well being of our children. If our leader does not want this project he should have the decency to tell us so and not shamefully hide behind one of his departments or czars.

  5. LOL, I love how you guys conveniently ignore that it was a Republican govenor and senator representing majority conservative constituents that led the charge AGAINST the pipeline! We're not talking about preserving some 3-toed gecko frog. We're talking about threats to the drinking water and irrigation water for millions of residents in a portion of our nation's bread basket.

  6. The pipeline went through all the necessary enviro standards over the last 3 years and passed. It wasnt until the president went to sign its approval when the enviro-wackos told him to turn it down.Shows who's really running this country-special interest groups!

  7. @2:02

The Republitards here don't like facts. They just love their spoon-fed talking points from Faux News and AM Radio.

  8. 2:23 "enviro-wackos" like the farmers and ranchers who have been at the forefront of the public comments AGAINST the current route of the pipeline? HA HA.

Or you think they should just stop wetting their pants over the fact that the company decided they wanted to use pipes that are significantly thinner that the normal standards?

Or maybe these folks should just turn a blind eye to the 10's of thousands of gallons of spillage that routinely occurs from these pipelines?

  9. 2:40. How many 10s of thousands have spilled from the Alaska pipeline. I would appreciate a documented statement from you on this one. Won't hear from you on this one, because your head is stuck some place.

  10. 3:12, how about you take a few minutes of your own time to do some homework. You'll find multiple instances of major spills over 10,000 gallons across the US, Canada, and Mexico in just the last 2-3 years. The Alaska pipeline has had atleast 2 major leaks, each totalling several thousand gallons, since 2001. Maybe you would like that in your drinking water, but not me. And apparently not these residents.

Really the merits of the project are a moot point here. My comment is for all you clowns who automatically claim that this is somehow an "enviro-wacko" nutjob decision when in actuality, there are conservatives on the ground fighting against this along with environmentalist who raise some serious issues. Those issues aren't logically addressed by people who simply choose to stay ignorant of the facts based solely on political affiliation.

  11. How does a few thousand gallons relate to 10' of thousands. My political affiliation has nothing to do with my grandkids future or my common sense . I guess we should not be drilling in the Gulf either. Bet you have natural gas, or propane, or electric heat in your home. Where do you suppose it comes from? You must drive your car or suv on H2o.
