AAA: Gas Prices Highest Ever To Start A Year

If you think gas prices were outrageous in 2011, you're right, says Triple-A, and the price you paid to start this year was a record-breaker.

 The auto club Wednesday released figures showing the national average price for a gallon of regular, at just under 3.28 as of New Year's Day, was the highest ever at the beginning of a year, relegating 2011's New Year's Day price of 3.07 to second place.

  1. Definitely time to backup the drilling moratorium, pipeline blocking policies with a new one eliminating refineries. maybe then people will start buying those $250,000 electric cars that would require overnight stays every 250 miles. Keep up the good work Barack.
