(WASHINGTON) — Unemployment rates fell in 43 states in November, the most number of states to report such declines in eight years.
The falling state rates reflect the brightening jobs picture nationally. The U.S. unemployment rate fell sharply in November to 8.6 percent, the lowest since March 2009. The economy has generated 100,000 or more jobs five months in a row — the first time that's happened since 2006, before the Great Recession.

ReplyDeleteWe got some stupid people in this country.
When the holidays are over and all those jobs go away.....will Obama claim responsibility for that too?
ReplyDeleteOK, so where was this Christmas bump in jobs the last five years? The last I heard Christmas does come every year.
ReplyDelete1017-Check the numbers from last fall. You'll see a similar reaction in job increases. Also, look at the breakdown of what sectors these jobs came from. Outside of retail(where the majority of jobs were gained), the only other sectors with increasing employment this year are sectors subsidized by the federal gov't.
